We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Proposals Manger to join the Bid Team based out of our newly refurbished Head Office by Leatherhead Railway station. This would be a fixed term role for up to 18 months , supporting the creation of communications in all forms of media, to drive customer-focused messaging – maximising business advantage for Wates. With key responsibility for: • Supporting the Business in ensuring that PQQ and bid submissions are of high quality, consistent and professional • Managing the Knowledge Bank of Wates projects and people (data and photos) • Working with bid teams to manage the input of information and to develop responses that are attractive, focused, and highlight the benefits of our offer • Taking responsibility and ownership for the overall quality and presentation of the submission To be successful in this role you will already have a good understanding of the process, ideally within a relevant industry – but not essential. You will be able to demonstrate creativity in the development of communications and submissions, and have an appreciation of communication and graphic design strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with excellent organisation skills and ability to manage and prioritise time.
