Commercial Insurance Account Handler to £28,000 benefits Guildford/Godalming area Well established independent Insurance Broking group, are seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, to work alongside Account Executives, to ensure a high quality service is provided at all times for an existing portfolio of clients book of business, as well as new clients. This includes, small, medium and large clients, drawn from a wide sector of Commerce and Industry. You should be someone who enjoys building a rapport with clients, really getting to understand their Insurance and Risk Management requirements, and ensuring that the business can be placed effectively in the market on the best terms. You will handing new business enquiries, providing quotations, liaising with underwriters, placing business with a wide panel of insurers; handling renewals and ensuring high levels of retention; handling mid-term adjustments. Skills & experience required: 3 years Commercial Insurance Broking experience, with a wide product knowledge across the major classes of Insurance Risk - Property, Liability, Business Interruption, Commercial Motor etc. as well as an up to date knowledge of the market offerings of a wide panel of Insurers. Strong communication skills. Positive, can-do pro-active approach to client service and team work.
