Job Title:Operations Manager Reports to: Operations Director Role Objectives Accountable for providing effective and high quality leadership and site management in a busy and evolving document scanning and information processing environment. Utilising process improvement techniques and technology to deliver high quality, cost effective services. Contributing to the organisation's overall revenue targets and general business strategy. Ensuring that operational capability is delivered in line with contractual requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities General Responsibilities: Organise and manage the site and its teams effectively. Have a detailed understanding of all key contracts delivered within the site. Be responsible for the site Profit & Loss account, attending and contributing to monthly reviews. Contribute to the budgeting process and manage the site within allocated budgets. Provide Leadership and Management to site staff, supervisors and managers. Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures contained in the Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems Report any Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality incidents to your manager. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that contracts and projects are delivered to agreed quality and financial targets. Ensure that the site-level organisation is structured and optimised to deliver the above services. Support the development and maintenance of ISO certifications, ensuring that all control objectives are satisfied within the site. Contribute to the development, implementation and then maintenance of the service delivery systems. Continually develop site staff, carry out appraisals and recruit permanent and temporary staff Plan and manage service capacity effectively within the region, ensuring that available capacity supports contractual and new business demand. Develop staff to meet company and personal objectives, performance manage and fully implement the appraisal system. Contribute to the commercial (costing) elements of our services, by working closely with the Sales and Senior Management Teams. Experience of leading teams through organisational change. Experience of leading and contributing to change/improvement initiatives. Knowledge: Essential In-depth knowledge of manual and automated image and data capture systems. Able to plan operational capacity, size teams accordingly and manage to agreed budgets. Demonstrable experience of driving and motivating teams to meet targets. Experienced in managing to Customer expectations and of dealing directly with Customers. Good user-perspective IT skills and knowledge of IT systems. Good understanding of project management. Excellent understanding of English language, verbal and written
