The Sales Operations department at Episerver is responsible for ensuring that executive management has the visibility they need into the business, that the field is properly empowered, and that the sales and services organizations have the process/tools to operate efficiently and effectively. Cooperation and collaboration across all departments at Episerver is key as well as a very close alignment with the executive team. In support of this, the Sales Operations Manager will focus on the following core responsibilities

Deal Support in EMEA
  • Serve as point of escalation for internal deal support, specific to revenue recognition, and contracting guidance.
  • With emphasis in the following territories: Sweden, Norway, Continental Europe, BeNeLux, Denmark, Australia
  • Play key role in contract drafting and negotiation of business terms
  • Enforce business controls, policies, procedures, and best practices to maximize sales performance and comply with GAAP requirements (where applicable)
  • Help build and implement an empowerment framework with the goal of improving quality and consistency of response to escalation while reducing senior management involvement
Business Analysis
  • Analyze and provide on demand analysis regarding: pipelines, sales results, segmentation, leads and forecasting
  • Drive and distribute bi-weekly pipeline reports and executive summary
  • Support monthly Board reporting requirements
  • As required, validate reports and analysis from supporting stakeholder groups
Systems Management & Support
  • Support the CRM/SFA system specific to the sales organization
  • Support the License Center system and supporting quote approval workflow
  • Identify / recommend tools to improve performance and works with IT to implement such tools
  • Drive weekly data cleansing initiatives in CRM/SFA
Sales Readiness & Training
  • Deliver field readiness training specific to CRM/SFA best practices
Cross-department Process Improvements
  • Support initiatives to improve process and systems supporting Sales, Marketing, Services, Partners, Customer Support, Licensing, Legal, and Finance
Basic Profile

The candidate for this position should have 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations (preferably within the enterprise software business) with a track record of going the extra mile, a high level of motivation, and credibility and respect from colleagues.

University degree with a focus in management, finance or technology.
