Compliance Business Systems Specialist
PDQ have the pleasure in partnering with a global aviation business to source an experienced Compliance Business Systems Specialist on a permanent basis. An integral role to the company and would suit someone who has exposure within the Aviation industry currently. This role sits within the Quality sector of the business and would report into the Group Compliance Manager. The role centres around the BMS. As the Compliance Business Systems specialist, this will be your main area of focus. Key responsibilities are: - BMS compliance to Regulatory (EASA21G, EASA145, FAA, TCCA) and Certification (AS9100) requirements. - Develop a user-friendly process based BMS AS9100 rev D or ISO9001;2015, ensuring a KIS approach to access to forms, process flows charts, HR and EH&S procedures is applied. - Maintenance and update of BMS. - Contribute to department and site metrics as defined by the organisation. - Support all Regulatory and Certification audits as required and addressing any areas for improvement identified. - Support Customer audits as required. - Deliver internal training on BMS operations and or other training modules developed by the department. - Management of the document change process, including procedures. - Integrate the Supplier controls and reports into the BMS. - Coordinate regulatory affairs and monitor regulatory changes affecting the organisation. - Centralised Certified Staff register - specialist training e.g. gold soldering and FAA/EASA approval authority. - Maintain standard quality responses to Customer Questionnaires. - Manage all Customer Specification and quality contract review updates. - Documentation management process - develop and roll out scanning of quality records e.g. EASA form 1, test records, manufacturing documents across all sites. - Control standard library across all three sites. - Conduct 1st and 2nd party audits on behalf of AAG and supporting CAR resolution. - Support activities in-line with the organisations policy deployment process. - Support all management reviewing meetings. - Lead problem solving teams in line with the AAG standard processes to ensure effective corrective action is implemented. - Gain sufficient knowledge as to be able to release Product in accordance with EASA Form 1 Requirements. - Have sufficient knowledge as to support FAIR to AS9102. - Monitor and escalate, where necessary, internal product quality issues. - Participate in the companies' improvement activities including 5S.
