One Resourcing Ltd are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based at Gatwick Airport for an Allocator (Cleaning Division) Working a night shift of 1800-0600 with a pattern of 4 on - 4 off, the ideal candidate will have previous experience within the aviation/airport environment. Our client have a number of major contracts with airlines for the provision of aircraft cleaning. Providing a flexible, responsive and efficient day to day cleaning operation at LGW ensuring that customer requirements are met and exceeded within the appropriate budget. Customer contact and management of the team to ensure that the highest standards are achieved is very important. Health and Safety Policies, Ramp Awareness and Operational Excellence will play a key part in this role. Main Duties: Manage the day to day crew allocations and other resources to meet customer requirements as directed by the Duty Manager Ensure that the Duty Manager is regularly and accurately informed of operational progress Deal with customer complaints proactively and ensure that the Duty Manager is regularly and accurately informed Collate and prepare all operational paperwork to meet Company timescales. Ensure a comprehensive and accurate handover is given at the start and end of each shift Maintain a proactive and positive approach to customer requirements, referring where necessary to your Duty Manager Contribute to Recruitment, Health and Safety, Training, Performance Management and all Company Policies including Grievance, Disciplinary and Equal Opportunities to ensure that the needs of the business are met, seeking support from the respective senior management team where necessary. Play a proactive part in meeting the Company Business objectives Contribute to the daily status report on your base, detailing any operational delays/incidents, additional work achieved etc and any other detail as from time to time may be required. Ensure relevant administration duties required daily, weekly, monthly as required by the Duty Manager are completed Ensure compliance to relevant ISO Quality standards Any other duties as may be requested from time to time in order to meet the operational needs of the business. Skills and Qualification Requirements A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience depending on size of location Proven experience gained in either Cleaning, Aviation, Ground Handling or similar industry Ability to monitor and control stock Good working knowledge of Aviation Operations Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative Full Clean Driving licence The individual for this role should have good communication skills and the ability to deal with customers and staff in a positive and motivational manner. They will need the ability to react quickly to given situations, using innovative, creative solutions, and not be afraid of becoming one of the team if the situation demands it. They should have a working knowledge of IT encompassing but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
