Our client is seeking Support Workers and Care Assistant in the Mitcham area of London to provide personal care and support to young people and children in residential care. As a Support Worker & Care Assistant, you will go the extra mile for every individual. You will be supporting children and young people through every aspect of their daily life. Your responsibilities will involve:
Supporting each individual through their education as well as making lifestyle choices
Encourage children to take part in social activities, build friendships with peers and pursue their hobbies
Offer ongoing support and enable them to achieve their goals and aspirations 
Form strong bonds with each child, building confidence and self esteem

What experience will you need?
To be a Support Worker & Care Assistant you will need to have at least 6 months experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities or complex needs. You will also be willing to complete a level 3 in residential childcare. 
Above all you will have the motivation and dedication to support each individual through the bad and the good!

Hours, salary & benefits:
Full time hours- 40 hours per week.
Alternate weekends
£8.50 - £9.00 per hour
