Heritage Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Care Team Leader to join the team at Holmers House located in High Wycombe. Joining us on a part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £9.80 per hour.

Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.

We are looking for a committed Care Team Leader to work as part of an efficient team and to contribute to the smooth running of the home.  As a Care Team Leader you will ensure that each individual maintains the lifestyle of their choice by ensuring each person has a person-centred plan which is continually reviewed.  You will supervise and assist a team of care workers and help them deliver exceptional care to our service users.  You will work in partnership with families and other significant people in the person’s life to ensure the best possible care and support is provided.

Ideally you should hold a QCF Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and supervisory experience would be advantageous.  Good communication skills are essential as they will help you to build positive relationships with our service users, their families and our staff.  There will be plenty of opportunities to use your initiative and your problem solving skills to manage the day to day service.

Holmers House is a purpose built care home and has specially designed accommodation for older people living with dementia. It has 48 en-suite rooms, divided between its three self-contained units, each of which has their own living room and dining room. All three units have access to the home’s wheelchair accessible, landscaped gardens. Residents are supported by the staff to live as independently as their health conditions will allow and care is personalised to meet each person’s level of need. Our staff team have built a warm and welcoming environment for residents and have all been trained to support people with varying levels of need.

Salary: £9.80 per hour

Hours of work:  22.5 hours per week
