A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer for a friendly and relaxed IT Support company based in Herne Hill, Dulwich (SE24), providing support services for businesses in and around London.

You will be working as a key member of a highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable team, benefiting from ongoing technical training, career progression and stability. The suitable candidate should have experience working as an IT Support engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
??? Work on support calls and take the majority of them through to resolution; dealing with customer, suppliers and vendors
??? Deliver a friendly, helpful and courteous service
??? Answer and log support calls from customers 1st or 2nd line
??? Resolve queries as efficiently and effectively as possible
??? Assist 3rd line engineers on projects as required, either in the office or onsite
??? Participate in the out-of-hours support rota when required and take support calls
??? Assist with the day-to-day pro-active monitoring and response to alerts from our management system
??? Occasionally travel to sites to provide on-site support to customers

Candidate Requirements:
??? At least two years of experience in software & hardware troubleshooting on laptops, desktops, servers & networking equipment
??? A valid UK driving licence is preferable
??? Knowledge of networks, Microsoft Exchange server, desktop support for Windows and apple and Cloud based systems
??? Experience on all versions of Windows including servers
??? Show excellent problem-solving skills
??? Microsoft SCCM is a plus
??? Clustering, not compulsory
??? Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers (English language vital)
??? Keen to learn and keep up to date of new business technologies
??? Good technical skills but especially adept at resolving problems
??? A team player, working well with colleagues
??? Calm under pressure and a methodical thinker
??? Good organisation skills and time management

Salary dependent on experience.
