Setter/Supervisor - Injection Moulding (Night Shift)
The purpose of this role is the setting of production equipment and tool changing within the plastic injection moulding department.
- Liaise with Mould Shop Manager for production priorities
- Setting of equipment
- Operation of injection moulding machinery
- Safe tool changes and colour changes
- Operation of gantry cranes
- Use of 3-axis robots
- Supervision of operators
- Completion of relevant documentation
- Compliance with Health & Safety requirements and regulations
- Compliance with Quality requirements
Injection Moulding experience essential.
The ideal applicant will have a good working knowledge of mechanical systems, possess basic trouble shooting skills, enjoy challenges and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
The applicant will also be accountable for quality and standard of work.
Excellent time-keeping and attendance are required.
Qualifications and Certification:
- Ideally a formal certificate for polymer technology and Machine condition setting
- Forklift licence
